Despite the size and impact this planning application, the level of consultation and information supplied by Infinergy has so far been woefully inadequate. The full environmental impact assessment which was made available online is virtually impossible to read. Not only this, but most of the photomontages showing (Infinergy's version) of the likely visual impact have, to date, been omitted from this documentation.

Unlike previous major planning applications, the plans have not been placed in the public libraries. Whilst this is not a legal requirement, it is considered to be good practice, and is essential for a development of this scale. In East Stoke, there is no venue for the public to view the documentation because the village hall has been demolished. In the surrounding parishes only the non- technical summary has been made available to councillors. This document is little more than a glossy brochure for Infinergy, is therefore completely unsuitable for the purposes of establishing facts about this contentious planning application.

Given Landowner Will Bond's statement reported in the Daily Echo on 6th December last year 'WIND farm could be a reality in Dorset by 2009.,' it is essential that we do not allow unscrupulous developers to railroad this decision through the planning process.

Please submit your objections as soon as possible.
